MOST AWARDED AGENCY FOR DESIGN EFFECTIVENESS

Most Awarded Agency At DBA Design Effectiveness Awards

We’re thrilled to announce that we have taken home two Golds and a Silver at this year’s Design Business Association (DBA) Design Effectiveness Awards. The DBA has been measuring success, sharing excellence and best practice in design effectiveness for over 30 years. The prestigious awards provide powerful evidence of design’s ability to influence business success.

We were awarded Gold for our rebrand of British icon Princes. The reinvigorated redesign has driven brand re-appraisal, attracting shoppers in the target 35-44 age range and building loyalty with existing consumers. Overall shopper numbers have risen 2.2% and Princes was enjoyed at 3.4 million additional meal occasions than in the same period the previous year.

Our second gold went to the independent and family-owned seafood brand Whitby Seafoods. The more meaningful design has driven value perception, attracting new consumers and stealing share from competitors. Penetration has soared 40.1%, with 995,000 new shoppers gained and the brand’s share of the frozen coated seafood market jumped from 18% to 24%. Whitby Seafood has seen enormous growth of over 45% in value and 52% in volume.

Last but not least, we took home a silver for our recent revamp of the UK’s number one micro snacking brand Rustlers. The new bold design and simplified ranging architecture have boosted impact and aided navigation at shelf, differentiating Rustlers from competitors and encouraging purchase across the range. Now appealing to a wider audience,

Rustlers has seen a 23.7% increase in sales from middle families (with children aged 5-9 years) and a 10% increase in pre-family sales. Importantly, the design also opens up innovation opportunities across products, occasions and formats, which will help drive penetration even further.

A big well done and thank you to our brilliant partners and team! Congratulations to all of this year’s winners.
