Strategist - New York / Chicago

We’re actively recruiting for a sharp thinking, bold Strategist to join our busy and dynamic strategy team.

The role in a bit more detail:

The Strategist role is a key position and the right candidate will feel at home working across different internal teams and building strong partnerships with key clients. You’ll be joining a small but fast-paced studio of curious, open-minded people and you’ll fit right in if you’re proactive, motivated and keen to learn more about how and why brands really work. Working with the North America and wider global Strategy team you’ll have excellent exposure to both established international clients and independent challenger brands.

What we’re looking for:

An imaginative self-starter who is comfortable walking the line between order and chaos. Someone confident in the world of CPG branding and portfolio strategy, who loves structuring a compelling and emotive brand narrative, and someone who has client-facing experience.

You are someone who enjoys consumer research, trend analysis, and finding the why behind the idea. Experience in comms and/or digital planning is a bonus, but not mandatory. You know how to write and create compelling narratives. A secret (or not so secret) nerd on behavioural economics and cognitive neuroscience is a plus; someone who has an interest in semiotics is even better! You don’t need to have all the answers, but you’ve got to be hungry to find them.

The nitty gritty

  • Experience working on core brand strategy
  • Presentation skills, design literacy and the ability to distil complex thought into compelling narratives
  • 2+ years at a global agency that focuses on CPG projects
  • Good communicator able to build client relationships – client-facing experience is essential
  • Studio based role
