Middleweight Designer - London
In a nutshell…
We’re recruiting for a dynamic, enthusiastic Middleweight Designer to join our fast-paced and friendly Design team in our London studio.
The role in a bit more detail:
As Middleweight Designer, you’ll be working across a wide range of clients and different sectors, including world-famous brands as well as challengers, from FMCG through to corporate.
You’ll be working across a number of disciplines from brand identity and creation, packaging design, digital design, comms and more. You’ll be responsible for generating strategically relevant design concepts and bringing them to life, clearly articulating how your ideas deliver against our design principles of Distinctive, Memorable and Meaningful.
You’ll build strong relationship with Client Services, Strategy and Production teams to work collectively and keep projects running smoothly as well as building good relationships with clients.
You will also have the opportunity to continue to hone your craft, as you begin to own your projects and to lead design on smaller clients. On all your projects, you will be developing the skills of a brand guardian able to work across a wide range of clients and briefs.
What we’re looking for:
Someone with a genuine love of branding and design, who always considers the full brand experience, how a brand looks and moves, speaks and sounds, acts and feels.
You’ve got an established skillset along with proven experience working across multiple design platforms, with a keen understanding of FMCG brands.
You’re comfortable juggling multiple projects and are able to manage your time, ensuring the team knows your workload, and willing to help and support others when you may be under less pressure.
You understand what it means to be a strategic thinker and you are beginning to apply this to your work. You are eager to learn the BrandOpus way of thinking and application. You’re able to filter through your ideas, pulling out the ones that really nail the brief, clearly articulating what makes your work relevant.
