Marketing & PR Manager

In a nutshell…

We’re looking for a sharp thinking, proactive Marketing and PR specialist to join our London office and oversee our global marketing and press activities. Working closely with the New Business Director, you’ll generate new opportunities for BrandOpus to continue to raise our profile and promote our work.

The role in a bit more detail:

Working with the New Business Director, you will develop and deliver an overall PR & marketing activity plan each year that supports us to deliver our business objectives. This will include the awards calendar, speaking opportunities, industry events, PR for BrandOpus launches, thought leadership and client entertainment events. You will also be responsible for tracking and analysis of the impact of our marketing and lead on quarterly and annual reporting.

You’ll work closely with our PR agency to generate opportunities, manage enquiries and responses to industry and national press to ensure BrandOpus appears in the right place at the right time.

Managing the BrandOpus website to ensure the content is always accurate and relevant, you’ll work to maximise our search engine optimisation and social media presence, as well as building a constant pipeline of content. You’ll manage our social media activity to help us build our profile in different media spaces that will attract clients and talent alike.

You will also be responsible for awards; managing our awards calendar, entering and attending those which best support our strategic plans, and working with Client Services to draft entries, secure client contribution and approval.

You’ll be instrumental in coordinating events – both internal and external – to ensure we’re taking the stage at Cannes and other key industry events, hosting in our own space for clients and employees alike and building engagement for BrandOpus inside the agency and out.

What we’re looking for:

A natural communicator and highly persuasive, at ease talking to all kinds of people and someone who can easily motivate each one to enable you to deliver what you need. Someone who easily builds rapport, and solid, lasting relationships with key influencers inside and outside the business.

Someone who has a thorough understanding of branding and design, and understands the value of our work to our clients, and knows that it’s the commercial effectiveness of our work that will attract new clients to us. You understand our clients and their businesses, and you understand our ideal target client and sectors.

You understand how the media works and have great relationships with key journalists and media contacts and build new relationships that take the agency to new audiences and countries.

You’re naturally organised and able to juggle many things at once, always thinking ahead to ensure everything runs like clockwork.

You have an excellent way with words and are able to adapt your style to suit the audience and medium (industry press, our website, monthly newsletters, opinion pieces) you’re writing for.
