Golden Shred has been a firm favourite within British households since 1864, as a result there is plenty of latent goodwill for Golden Shred and it had enjoyed a strong brand image in the past. Sadly in recent years this had been eroded in favour of product communication, and we were briefed to
reverse this process.
With an archive of heritage to work with, we delved into the history behind the brand. Our focus was to re-instigate and craft those elements, such as the royal warrant and the signature, which had been discarded in recent years. Our ultimate vision was to create a classic pack design that appears timeless.
The result is a design that gets the brand back to its roots. The packaging harks back to a much earlier pack manifestation, restoring the brand’s iconic status.
